Training continues in the ‘Konyaaltı Incubation Center’ project carried out by Konyaaltı Municipality in cooperation with the Western Mediterranean Development Agency. Within the scope of the project, after the entrepreneurs in the Center completed their first technology and innovation-based entrepreneurship training, customized trainings started.
Expert Filiz Uçar Rowan, gave training about “Data Protection and Basic Security Measures in the Digital World” to entrepreneurs at Nazım Hikmet Congress and Fair Center.
In training She gave entrepreneurs information on many issues such as the functioning of data, data leakage costs, combating data attacks, cyber attacks and the precautions to be taken against these attacks.
While Rowan stated that attention should be paid to the software used to store information in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law, she warned entrepreneurs by saying, ‘If data is stored in unknown applications, we do not know where it will go next.’
Rowan said that as a result of the data being stored in insecure places, it is unclear where it will go next, and continued her words as follows:
“Protection of Personal Data is a very important issue for entrepreneurs because if you somehow store your data in an unsecured place, you never know where the data will go later.”
