KONYAALTI INCUBATION CENTER APPLICATION SPECIFICATIONS

DEFINITIONS

Konyaaltı Incubation Center: Konyaaltı Incubation Center (hereinafter referred to as “CENTER”) is the Center that operates under the Konyaaltı Municipality (hereinafter referred to as the “MUNICIPALITY”) and provides incubation services to support entrepreneurs’ development through basic entrepreneurship training, business development activities and mentoring services provided to entrepreneurs, and to help entrepreneurs strengthen their connections in the business world.

Applicant: Each participant who fills in all parts of the application form on the official website of the Center and submits the form by clicking the “Apply” button is defined as “Applicant”.

Participant: Persons who are selected as a result of the evaluation to be made according to the criteria announced on the official website of the Center and who are entitled to benefit from the physical and educational opportunities of the Center free of charge are defined as “Participants”.

 

PURPOSE OF THE CENTER

Our aim; To contribute to the development of the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Antalya and to contribute to the transformation of our city that creates added value through collaborations to be developed between universities, unions, chambers, technology development centers and incubation centers, angel investor networks and the business world.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  1. Applications to the Center are accepted only through the application form on the official website of the Center and the official website of our Municipality. Applications claimed to be made through other channels will not be accepted.
  2. Applications to the Center will be open between the dates published on the official website of our municipality. All participants are obliged to fill in the application form completely and correctly and save it in the system until the application deadline, otherwise the application will be deemed incomplete. MUNICIPALITY does not accept any responsibility for incomplete or incorrectly filled or late submitted application forms.
  3. Persons 18+ can apply to the Center.
  4. Participants can apply to the center with more than one (1) business idea, but only one (1) application can be accepted.
  5. In the application form, the participant’s name, surname, date of birth, TR identity number, passport number (For non-TC applicants), e-mail address, mobile phone, education status must be written completely and correctly during the registration stage.

After completing the application form, all notifications to be made by the MUNICIPALITY or CENTER will be sent to the e-mail address specified in the application form.

The MUNICIPALITY or CENTER is not responsible for the notifications not reaching the participants due to the fact that this information in the application form is not correct or changed later.

Personal data collected by the Center will be processed within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law”) and in accordance with the provisions of the Law.

Participants accept that the personal information they have provided in the application form belongs to them and that the MUNICIPALITY can process this information in accordance with the conditions mentioned in the Clarification Text and in accordance with the relevant conditions, provided that it is used in accordance with its purpose.
  2. The business idea that is the subject of the application can be an innovative idea developed by the participant and applicable to business life.

Although there is no limitation on the scope of the business idea; By signing this specification, the participants,

  • That the business idea submitted to the Center does not violate the intellectual property rights of third parties;
  • They will be personally responsible for all kinds of claims and lawsuits that third parties may raise regarding the violation of intellectual property rights, They will keep everyone acting on behalf of the MUNICIPALITY or CENTER free from all kinds of demands and lawsuits, that they will be responsible for the recourse receivables arising from these lawsuits,
  • They declare and undertake in advance that the business idea is in accordance with the law, does not conflict with the values ​​and general moral rules of the MUNICIPALITY or CENTER, and does not offend any person or institution. In this regard, it is recourse liable for compensation lawsuits to be filed on behalf of the Municipality or the Center.

If the applicant has made an application or obtained a registration with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office or other offices for patent, utility model, brand or other intellectual property rights on all or some elements of the business idea; It should give brief information about the transactions and situation regarding the intellectual property right in question. MUNICIPALITY may request more information on the subject if needed.

  1. The MUNICIPALITY has the right to disqualify the Applicants from the Program at any stage, if it determines that they do not comply with the rules set forth in this specification.

  3. Applications are forwarded to the Central juries to be determined by the MUNICIPALITY.

Applications are evaluated according to the following criteria:

  • What is the definition and size of the customer segment that your products and services are solving?
  • Who will be your first user or customers?
  • What are the social and environmental impacts of your business idea?

Innovation

  • How is the problem you intend to solve currently being solved?
  • What are your closest competitor products?
  • What are the features that distinguish you from your competitors and make you advantageous against your competitors and what are your disadvantages according to them?

Applicability

  • What are your material, service, workforce, financing, etc. needs? What is your plan for how to meet these needs?
  • Do you have a competent team to turn your business idea into a viable project?

 

  1. After the initial evaluation, applications are evaluated by experts in the field determined by Konyaaltı Municipality and project stakeholders.
  2. After the applications are evaluated, the main and alternate projects to be supported at the Center are selected.
  3. The business development process of the entrepreneurs accepted to the Center will be followed by the Board and the right to benefit from the Center’s support for business ideas that do not develop will be terminated.
  4. The MUNICIPALITY has no obligation to provide feedback to the Applicants who were not selected for the Incubation Center regarding the reasons for their non-selection.
  5. OPPORTUNITIES OFFERED WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE PROGRAM AND OBLIGATIONS OF TEAMS
  6. Participants have the right to participate free of charge in all kinds of work and activities to be held in the open office, meeting rooms and CENTER in the Center during the period determined by the Municipality and on the days and times mutually agreed by the parties.
  7. First of all, a meeting is held in which the Participants who are entitled to benefit from the Center will come together, and information is given on the conditions of using the working area and meeting rooms, trainings, etc.
  8. On the one hand, participants are provided with training on various issues that an entrepreneur needs, on the other hand, they are provided with expert support to share experiences and develop their business ideas through meetings organized with business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and ecosystem actors.
  9. Participants are obliged to attend all trainings and events held within the framework of the Program. In the event that the responsibilities specified in Article E are not fulfilled without an excuse, the supports offered to them are terminated if the same situation or other violations continue after a written warning by the MUNICIPALITY.
  10. RIGHT TO MAKE CHANGES OF KONYAALTI MUNICIPALITY

The MUNICIPALITY reserves the right to make all kinds of changes in the specification, evaluation criteria, jury members, facilities to be offered within the scope of the Center and the date of application, for objective and reasonable reasons, provided that it is clearly announced on the website in advance.
